Kracher Trockenbeerenauslese Cuvee Burgenland NV 187ml 10.5% Alc/Vol; 194.4 g/l RS; 7.2 g/l TA. 55% Welschriesling, 40% Chardonnay and 5% Traminer, blended from several vintages and matured in seasoned French oak barriques and large oak casks. Kracher is a wine producer located in the Burgenland region of Austria, where the estate's vineyards span from the village of Illmitz to the shores of Lake Neusiedl. The terroir here is perfect for the spread of botrytis or 'noble rot', and Kracher make a range of lusciously sweet Beerenauslese and Trockenbeerenauslese wines. Kracher produces a wide range of wines, including Auslese, Eiswein, sparkling and dry white and red wines. The flagship wines, however, are the Trockenbeerenauslese wines that fall under two labels – Zwischen den Seen (meaning "in between the lakes") and Nouvelle Vague.
