1939-53 Ford Mercury Flathead V8 NOS Crankshaft 3.75 French NEW 328Overall length is 26.030". Wide counterweight is approximately 6.0". Clean-out holes are the large 0.6250" (5/8") type. Main journals measure 2.4990" (see picture). Rod journals have 2 oil holes and measure 2.1390" (see picture). These measurements are consistent with a stock uncut crankshaft. Stroke is 3.750". I bought several of these crankshafts from a hot rod shop that closed. They are all brand NEW never installed NOS French military surplus crankshafts. They still have the original "cosmoline" brown, wax-like petroleum-based corrosion inhibitors. There is minor surface/flash rust and shelf dirt. I have a couple of crankshafts that have been inspected and polished to confirm they are good to go. The polished "ready-to-run" crankshafts are for sale in a separate listing (not this listing).
