Bartolo Mascarello, Barolo, 2020

Bartolo Mascarello’s Barolo is a benchmark, blending fruit from Cannubi, San Lorenzo, Rue, and Rocche in traditional fashion. Since 1918, the estate has rejected cru bottlings in favor of a single, unified expression. The 2020 was fermented in cement and aged in large Slavonian oak, as always. Maria Teresa Mascarello continues her father’s uncompromising style—pure, long-lived, and defiantly classic.
