The WeThePeople Hybrid freecoaster hub combines over 10 years of R&D into the concept of a reliable freecoaster w/ the weight, durability & functional benefits of a cassette hub. Instead of the heavy steel clutch that most freecoasters use, the WTP Hybrid is based on the principle of a cassette hub w/ a few small changes. The Hybrid FC utilizes WTP's patented new double slack system which allows the hub to have a much larger (and adjustable) slack setting than any cassette-based freecoaster before it.The Hybrid FC features a Magnadrive driver that uses magnets to keep the pawls retracted & WTP's new wave spring friction system for hassle-free performance.
