Serra Post Earrings

  The Serra Earrings have the striking color combination of solid 14 karat yellow gold and black oxidized silver. These earrings were inspired by the many tunnels that go through the Serra do Mar in the São Paulo coast of Brazil. As a child I always looked forward to the tunnels so I could hold my breath and make a wish, but most importantly where it led: the beach! The oxidized sterling silver bar is enveloped by a solid 14karat gold sleeve. This is not plated jewelry, which wears off over time. The bar is finished in a black oxidized matte finish that gives it a bold color and the gold sleeve is high polished, enhancing the color difference and the warmth of the 14 Karat gold.
