Stronachie 10 YO is a labor of love across time and space — divined by science and crafted with skill. A. D. Rattray has been an independent bottler of Whisky since 1868. Since those early times they have distributed dozens of classic malt Whisky brands and created a few of their own, sourced from the smaller boutique distilleries of Scotland. They are not only an independent distributor and bottler, they are also historians and keepers of the Whisky faith via their “Whisky Experience” facility in South Ayrshire. These days their house brands include the uniquely re-born and revitalized Stronachie, Cask Islay, Bank Note, and their famous Cask Collection series of specially sourced individual barrels of Scotland’s most famous single-malts. Stonachie WAS a remote, Highland Single Malt distillery built in 1890 by Alexander McDonald.
