William Larue Weller was a 19th century Kentucky distiller who produced the first Straight Bourbon using wheat instead of rye. This eponymous Buffalo Trace brand celebrates the innovative lad with a special annual release of uncut and unfiltered wheated Bourbon. It's a wonderful collectible and a lovely sip if you dare open it. The 2021 release is a 125.3 Proof delicacy distilled in 2009 and matured in #4 charred new American oak from Warehouses K, L, D, Q, and C.
