Dictador Premium Colombian Aged Gin - Ortodoxy (700mL)

Glorious aged Colombian Gin.   Every good story starts with a journey and a discovery. Years ago, Dario Parra, former boss of Dictador Rum, visited the United Kingdom and fell in love with their national Spirit, Gin. He decided Colombia should have its own Gin and they should also age it. Now, barrel-aged Gins aren’t a new thing. Distillers stored it in wooden barrels because it was a more cost-effective way of moving it around, maturing the thing in the process. But nowadays, Gins usually aren’t aged, so it’s a wonderful twist to the classic drink. Mr. Parra tinkered around and created Ortodoxy, using barrels that used to hold Rum (working in a Rum distillery helped). He selfishly produced Ortodoxy for his own consumption for years.
