Atom Drinks Group was founded in 1996 by Justin Petszaft who — while working on his PhD program in Physics — started working at a local Single Malt Whisky shop in the UK. He eventually acquired the shop and set about bringing the business online, expanding operations, and recruiting a few of his childhood friends to join him. The business has expanded to develop and market their own line of signature Spirits. Their award-winning brands include Abelforth’s, Darkness, Origin, and nearly a dozen other Spirits. For some Spirits, making their dram "stronger" simply means adding less water to bring it to proof.
