Brugal Añejo Rum (700mL)
This is arguably Brugal’s most popular Rum — with good reason. Don Andrés Brugal Montaner founded Brugal & Co, in 1888 in the Dominican Republic near Puerto Plata — Silver Port — on the north side of the island. Five generations of the family have worked the stills and warehouses over the last 130 years. Only family members are allowed to be "Master Roneros" (Rum Masters). The current generation Master Roneros are Jassil Villanueva Quintana — the first female to hold the position — and her cousin Gustavo Ortega Zeller. They continue to produce highly regarded Rums in the local tradition across a range of seven finishes and styles. Brugal Añejo has long been one of the most popular Rums in its Dominican Republic home base. But the world has started to take notice and this — arguably the most popular Rum in its lineup — is now appearing in all the hottest bars and clubs across the UK and Spain. It’s made from the lightest distilled Rum spirits and aged five years in ex-Bourbo
