GlenDronach Distillery was founded in 1826 by James Allardice whose name is still proudly displayed on the bottle. They are smack dab in the middle of the Highland action about a mile south of the River Deveron. Over their 200-year history, this traditional distillery has been bought, sold, and traded more times than a Chicago politician. But in 2008 they were acquired from Pernod Ricard by the BenRiach Distillery Company. GlenDronach has won a lot of awards across their wide range of superlative releases.
