Type D polypropylene cam and groove fittings include a female cam x female NPT connection. Type D camlock fittings are most often used with Type A adapters of the same size, and can also be used with Type E and F adapters, and Type DP dust plugs. Polypropylene (also called PP) is a thermoplastic material that resists UV, weathering, and corrosion.
