Sally -Matthew 10:8

This verse means a lot to me, so much that I have it engraved on my personal stethoscope. I think about it often as I go through nursing school, learning to care for others. My goal is always to share Jesus’s light and love through my conversations and care.   The most meaningful part of this design is the cardinal on the bell of the stethoscope. I see a cardinal every single day, and I’ve always taken it as a reminder of my Mammaw. One of the vivid memories I have of her is the last time I saw her in the hospital before she passed. I used to hate hospitals because of that memory, but now they’ve become a place I look forward to being— a place where I get to care for and love on people who might be going through similar losses. It’s where I get to honor her memory through the way I care for others. 💜
