I created this one-of-a-kind concrete vessel using an unorthodox technique, which I like to call a hybrid of concrete casting and clay sculpting (minus the clay!) By using this technique, I was able to create and combine textures, voids and breaks throughout the piece. These textures almost appear to be braided and twisted in some areas and stacked in others which is what gives this piece a it's very strikingly unique look. *It should be noted that the intentional voids and breaks on the outer surface were methodically done so that the integrity of the piece remains solid and structurally sound.
