Having been matured in first fill, former American Bourbon barrels, this heavily peated expression from Speyside distillers Benromach has developed a rich, fruity flavour and full bodied character. There are notes of vanilla and honey to smell that develope on the palate along with hints of apricot and sugared almonds. A robust and hearty peaty dram from one of Speyside's smallest distilleries.
