Boesemani Rainbowfish The Melanotaenia boesemani, also known as the Boeseman's Rainbowfish, is a must-have for any serious aquarium enthusiast or collector. The males exhibit an array of vibrant colors including blue, yellow, and silver - making them a true standout in any aquatic setup. With a peaceful temperament and schooling behavior, the Boeseman's Rainbowfish does best when kept in groups of 6 or more in an aquarium of at least 30 gallons. They prefer heavily planted tanks with moderate lighting and ideal water conditions including a temperature between 72-82°F, soft to moderately hard water, and a pH between 6.0-7.5. When kept in the proper environment, these Rainbow specimens can live up to 5 years with excellent care. Their small size of around 3 inches makes them suitable for most community aquariums. We feed them a large variety of foods which include finely ground Northfin flake foods, small Northfin pellets (veggie, community, & bug pro), frozen foods. Please Note: Al
