Black King Kong / Panda Shrimp Mix You will receive black Taiwan bees from our Black King Kong and Panda mixed tank. For every order of five shrimp, you will receive one to two black King Kong shrimp. We sell all Taiwan Bee shrimp at about half an inch. The smaller they are, the easier to acclimate them to a new aquarium.  Our Black King Kong shrimp may come as the shadow variety. This means instead of being black and white, they will contain blue shadowing in their white coloration. Black King Kong shrimp and Panda shrimp are black Taiwan bees. They are from the genus Caridina and tend to be more difficult to keep compared to cherry shrimp or others. Taiwan Bees were considered some of the hardest to keep and breed freshwater shrimp in the past. Between 2009 and 2014, hobbyists were able to stabilize the Taiwan bee shrimp line to have more stability.
