I have so much fun pairing fabrics, cutting, piecing, and sewing the blocks. Then they are attached with appliqué iron on adhesive, then stitched securely onto the beanie, and finished with a swipe of thread lock on the edges to prevent any fraying. Obviously you need to be a bit careful when there is a patch on something stretchy, that it doesn’t stretch beyond what the thread can handle, or else you risk the thread breaking. Beanies are purchased from a wholesale supplier, not handmade by me.  These beanies can fit any adult head!
