Antique German Stork Candy Container

This may be the most unusual candy container in your collection. Made in Germany about 1930 of paper mache with delicate spun-cotton finish, which gives the stork a very feathery feel. The wing lifts for access to the candy container interior. In its wooden beak the stork carries a miniature doll wrapped in rose silk-like bunting and ribbons.
