Florida Panther with Spanish Lettering Women's Tank Top
Imagine yourself deep in the Florida forest at night. You hear something rustling the palm fronds but when you turn to look you can't quite make it out... is it a bird? Or something bigger? Though I have yet to personally see a Florida panther myself in the wild, I like to imagine I may have crossed paths with one unbeknownst to me. In this original design based on charcoal drawings by Floridiana Design, the elusive Florida panther takes center stage, accompanied by mysterious feathered fowl in the forest. The words are my (accidental) take on a very old Spanish saying. The original is 'de noche, todos los gatos son pardos' (at night, all the cats are black.) It originally conveyed the meaning, roughly, of 'once darkness falls it's hard to tell one person from another, one with good intentions, or one with bad.' I like the meaning in the sense that everything looks the same in the dark and it's hard to distinguish one thing from the other, so different from what a scene would look li
