The Duomo in Florence was built over 700 years ago - we can't guarantee that this bag will last that long but we can guarantee that it was built to last your lifetime.  This rock solid briefcase is made with full grain calfskin leather and is reinforced with microfiber board and padding to give it strength while at the same time making it lightweight (weighs only 5 lbs!).  This large briefcase has two 4" deep gusset compartments to carry loads of stuff.  The thick full grain leather was hand tanned Etruscan style in the heart of Tuscany to soften, patina, and develop a silky touch. Only vegetable extracts and natural oils were used to create rich, vibrant color and a tender, semi-gloss finish.   Our 8 oz cotton duck canvas lining is made in South Carolina and very durable.
