Fox Float X2 and DHX2 Base Valve Piston Kit

The Base Valve Piston is designed to enhance oil flow through the high-speed compression and rebound circuits by increasing piston port size. In factory shocks, a stiff high-speed compression (HSC) spring inside the adjuster can limit responsiveness. However, when paired with our precision-tuned piston and shock tuning, the HSC spring compresses more effectively, reducing harshness and improving compliance over rough terrain. Unlike swapping to a softer HSC spring—which reduces the overall compression adjustment range—our Base Valve Piston maintains the full range of adjustment while delivering improved performance. The kit includes a new check shim and adjuster shims and is compatible with any shock tune, ensuring seamless integration with your existing setup. You will need the fox adjuster pin tool for installation and general hand tools. Bleeding the shock is required for re-assembly  Will fit models 2021-current float x2 and dhx2 shocks.
