For a larger view of images, right click on the image and select "Open in a new tab Series bar manifold:  Used to mount several valves in series to control multiple actuators from the same pressure and tank source.  Reduces the amount of fittings, connections and space required to install valves.  Series manifolds are often used with fixed displacement pumps such as gear pumps.  The tank line from each valve is connected to the pressure port of the next.  When used with tandem “T” spool valves flow will pass through all the valves to tank.  This prevents heat build up by avoiding the pump dumping across a relief valve when you are not actuating a valve.  When you actuate a valve the pressure will flow through that valve.  Only one valve should be used at a time.  Flow control valves (Fluidhaus series VMFC6) under the valve can be used to control the flow/speed of each actuator independently.  Pressure reducing valves (Fluidhaus series VMU6) can be installed under the valves to control
