Hopeful Frock

Hopeful Frocks are an everyday statement piece that can be styled open, closed, layered or solo. I have tried out half a dozen different names for this style and I think Hopeful Frock may fit the best. I want it to feel like a cloak of hopefulness that carries you through your day.  The sleeve cuffs are double sided, and can be worn straight down as pictured, or folded up to reveal the other side. These pockets are the biggest that we make. + + + + +  This Hopeful Frock is crafted from a cotton shirt in with a tiny check gingham pattern. The side panels, bottom panel and pockets are stitched from vintage cotton with a wide light blue and mushroom stripe. I overdyed both of these fabrics in earthy forest shades.
