This continuous flow-through system has a zipper top and is made of breathable, waterproof, and extremely durable fabric!Set-Up:The bedding should cover 3/4 of the Worm Hut (shredded newspapers & cardboard pieces). Cover with dry bedding material and a large bag of Worm/Compost mix. Keep all bedding damp as a wrung-out sponge.Always cover all food scraps with 2" of dry bedding when feeding (this helps to prevent fruit fly infestations). Worms generally stay in the top one-third of the 'feeding zone,' while castings accumulate at the bottom of the cone-shaped bag.Harvest after six months by opening the bottom of the bag and removing the vermicompost into a dish pan.
