Raw Honey Wild Sunflower Local Texas 2025

This beautiful varietal local raw honey is produced by our bees in Lynn County, Texas. Harvested and extracted by me. Just 20 miles south of Lubbock, Texas.  We were blessed with rain during a time of dearth (a time when there is nothing blooming and the bees have nothing to forage on.)The entire prairie has been covered with wild Sunflowers. In early Spring this prairie caught fire from the lightning and almost took out the bees. The sunflowers now blooming where there the charred ground once was!  Wild Sunflower honey flavor profile: sweet light floral and mildly nutty.
