I designed these dice and launched with the support of over 1,300 backers on Kickstarter. Features include a new d4 design, a more enjoyable size, and mathematically balanced numbering layouts. An elegant case for storage and display is included!Designing the Hex d4: I was never quite satisfied with the d4. The tetrahedron is a terrifying caltrop that doesn't roll well. I never fell in love with the "shard" or the "double wedge". The "crystal" d4 worked ok, but with its rectangular and triangular faces it just wasn't very pretty. After many iterations I came up with a stunning d4 featuring hexagonal and rhombic faces that I call the Hex d4.Numbering Design: I spent hundreds of hours writing and running programs to balance the number placement on all these dice.
