F-14 Tomcat - "Sundowners Tomcat" Print
Entering service in 1974, the Tomcat served as the US Navy's primary air superiority fighter and interceptor. It's primary weapon was the long range AIM-54 Phoenix missile but it also carried the Sparrow and Sidewinder missiles for short and medium range targets as well as being armed with an internal 20mm cannon. Steadily updated through the years, the Tomcat remained the Navy's main fighter for 3 decades. The Tomcat was retired in 2006 after 32 years of excellent service. This print features the F-14 Tomcat in the markings of VF-111 Sundowners. 16" x 24" Archival Matte Print Mark Karvon Art Studios In order to provide the highest quality artwork to our valued customers and patrons, all our prints are only printed by a professional printing company on Heavyweight Archival Paper using Epson Ultrachrome professional archival inks.
