Sky Quilt

Watching clouds high up in the sky far above reach provides space for reflection. I made this quilt slowly over the course of the summer, bringing it with me when I traveled, and piecing it together in my free time. In the quiet moments of making this quilt I found myself in deep thought and fascination of the water cycle, rising and falling again, without a beginning or an end.  Hand-dyed with natural indigo, hand-stitched with sashiko thread, padded with natural cotton batting, trimmed with indigo linen from the same dye lot.  71 inches by 75 inches Comes in a handmade wood box with etched logo
