Our stainless steel wound strings outlast regular brass and bronze wound strings, but they tend to be brighter in tone quality. Loop end, American made, and the best quality available from any source. Pack of one (single) string. This particular string is .028" (28/1000 of one inch) in diameter, and is sometimes called .028SS. Each string has a total length of 45 inches (45"), and has approximately 42" of that total length covered with the stainless steel winding.
