Hand blown glass Christmas ball ornaments

We want something that is a memento of this year, but is also part of the holiday spirit. We work with glass smith and visual artist, Joan Biddle to create a range of custom glassware for us - these beauties are included. She is a staff instructor at the Chrysler Museum of Art Glass Studio in Virginia and a maestro in the art of glass freeforming, which dates back to 1st century BC - involving blowing short puffs of air into a molten portion of glass called a ‘gather’ which has been spooled at the one end of a blowpipe.
