Silk Chiffon - White Stripe

This lightweight off-white silk chiffon has a faint vertical (with the grain) striped weave. It has a beautiful drape and a lovely, smooth hand. Very soft and sheer. Perfect for blouses and layered over other fabrics! Also perfect for making an elegant scarf -- just roll hem each cut end of a length of fabric (we suggest 1.5 to 2 yards).  Stripes repeat every 1.25" (3.2cm) Fabric is sold by the 1/2 yard (so 1 unit is 1/2 yard, 2 units is 1 yard, etc.). This fabric is great for patterns like our 108 Turkish Dancer, 141 Korean Hanbok, 203 Edwardian Underthings, 205 Gibson Girl Blouse, 215 Empire Dress, 219 Intimacies,  223 A Lady's Chemise, and 266 Greek Island Dress.   100% silk. 45" (115cm) wide.
