Washout Sashiko Panels - Cream and Navy

This unique fabric panel is covered in sashiko designs that you can embroider.  Use the panels as a whole for making beautiful home decor or garments, or use the embroidery for appliqué or decorations.  Each panel is 24" long and has 18 different sashiko patterns to embroider.  The sashiko patterns wash away in a regular wash cycle. So any area that you do not embroider will wash away and leave a solid cream-colored fabric.  Base fabric is a smooth, medium-weight, cream- or navy-colored broadcloth. The sashiko designs measure 6.75"x6.75" This fabric is perfect for home sewing projects (just about anything in our 305 A Japanese Interior), but also great for making or adding to a kimono (113 Japanese Kimono), or 129 Japanese Hapi and Haori, or 112 Japanese Field Clothing.  Add sashiko thread and needles to complete your project.
