Vintage Maison de Fou Byzantine Crescent Necklace

A necklace that captures the 1960s fascination with the exotic and mystical, with a heavy golden crescent moon which hangs from a golden chain. This is a rare piece from Maison de Fou, a short-lived jewelry brand developed by Elizabeth Rich, an airline stewardess turned designer.
