Wormwood

"Artemisia absinthium" cut and sifted or common Wormwood, is an herbaceous perennial plant native to North Africa, temperate regions of Eurosia and widely naturalized in Canada and the northern US. Wormwood contains bitter substances that can also be found in endives, dandelion, Yarrow flowers and many more. They are a very important part for a stable and healthy digestion and rabbits love bitter substances. They support a good appetite and peristalsis and kill germs.   Please keep always in mind when you serve your pet new food: Some animals need their time to smell and try it since a lot of them have never smelled a flower or certain herbs before.  We, however, found that most critters dig our flower mixes right away. :-) Start with a 1oz bag unless you KNOW your pet loves that kind of treat since we do not offer refunds, exchange or returns on food.
