California Mandarin & Vanilla Crème Soap

Winter mandarins are a big deal here in Northern California. Made famous in a 2008 study by the USDA, mandarins hailing from Placer County specifically, offer unusually high concentrations of the phytochemical synephrine (a compound found to help with energy recovery). And while we can't claim this soap will help you be any more energetic, we can say it's uplifting scent might be enough to spark some vivacity in your day! This soap begins with a slow infusion of Tahitian vanilla bean in California olive oil. Next, we add in real mandarin puree, coconut cream, and annatto seed for color, finishing it off with mandarin essential oil in a creamy fragrance base. Organic castor oil adds good lather, while skin-loving sunflower oil, which is high in a oleic acid, provides excellent conditioning.
