Dream Salve

What is salve? Traditionally made with plant-based oils, wildharvested botanicals, and beeswax, salves have long been a favored tool in folk remedies. Often used to treat a variety of ailments, the history of salves dates back centuries. This salve contains a unique blend of herbs know to promote sleep and restful dreaming. LAVENDER: contains compounds known to produce anti-anxiety effects HOPS: can decrease nocturnal activity, can have a calming effect and promote dreams YARROW: may promote restfulness ST. JOHN'S WORT: protection, was often tucked under pillows to ward off death during sleep MUGWORT: sometimes known as the, "dream plant", slight sedative BANDED AGATE: protector, stone of healing, release, peace, and rest. This salve is a collaboration of local efforts.
