Brod - Dark Lager Four Pack

Brod - 4.6% Polotmavý. We’re really in love with this Czech-style half dark lager; brewed with a decoction mash of Pilsner malt, Caramunich, brown malt, dark crystal, and roasted barley; hopped entirely with Czech Saaz; fermented slow and cold with our lager yeast; and conditioned for many weeks under a naturally built carbonation. The beer simultaneously has a rich malty fullness, and a quick ethereal dryness that encourages you to quickly have another gulp (perhaps our most favourite quality of a beer). We’re getting notes of sweet plum skins, toasted multigrain bread, herbal bouquets, some hippy oat cereal, and a timelapse of grapes turning to raisins.
