Bison in the Autumn Grass Print

Bison grazing in the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone National Park. In the fall season, they are loading up on food and grazing before winter sets in, which happens quickly. We were visiting Yellowstone in early September, and this part of the park hosted a plethora of bison photo ops. There were lone males and large herds of cows with their babies.
