Episcia is a lovely trailing plant that is native to Central and South America, Brazil and the West Indies. An Episcia is grown for its colorful textured leaves and small but pretty flowers. It has never become as popular as its close relative the African Violet because they require more care ( extra humidity). Light : Episcia prefers bright indirect light, but will survive in medium-lower lighting conditions. Never allow this plant to stand in direct sunlight-the leaves will fade and become scorched. Water: Water when 95% of the soil is dry. This plant likes its soil to be moist (not soggy)  *We recommend Bottom-watering, sometimes called reverse watering, is when you place a plant in a bowl of water, allowing the soil and roots to soak up water from the bottom.
