Money Tree
Money Tree (Pachira aquatica) Native to Central & South America, Japan and East Asia Light: Your Money Tree will do best in bright indirect light. Never allow this plant to stand in direct sunlight-the leaves will become scorched. Water: When the top 90% of the soil is dry, but as soon as it gets to this point, proceed to water. *We recommend Bottom-watering, sometimes called reverse watering, is when you place a plant in a bowl of water, allowing the soil and roots to soak water from the bottom up. (Naturally, your pot needs to have drainage holes for this to work.) Humidity : Your Money Tree will thrive in a humid environment. Mist often Temperature: Your Money Tree prefers a warm environment, between 60-80ºF. Maintain indoor temperatures above 60 degrees. Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes. Food: Feed once a month during the spring and summer with a liquid fertilizer for indoor plants. Toxicity: Money Trees are non-toxic and are safe for humans, cats & dogs!
