Salus University Low Vision Rehabilitation Program This kit is designed exclusively for graduate students in low vision rehabilitation. It is a "budget" kit -- every effort was made to provide as much functionality as possible at the lowest cost. Sales are restricted to those currently enrolled in the Salus LVR program. The kit will allow you to simulate approximate VAs of 20/600 and 20/800, as well as visual fields of 10 and 5 degrees. There are enough materials for each acuity or field to be simulated in both eyes at the same time. This means that there are twice as many occluding films as needed. In other words, the kit effectively comes with built in spare parts. The low vision simulator is intended to be worn over one’s glasses.
