Time of Man by Elizabeth Madox Roberts. The Modern Library. (1935) "First Modern Library Edition" stated. with dust jacket. DUST JACKET: "268 Titles" stated on dust jacket. 95 cent price on dj. Illustration on front of dust jacket by somebody named 'Newman'. "DISCONTINUED TITLE" rubber stamped on the front panel (from the publisher?). Significant edge wear. Dj has a 1" tear on the back panel and a greater than 1" tear on the front panel. Number 24 in pencil on the front panel. Now protected in mylar dust jacket cover. BOOK: Gilt decoration and lettering on front cover and spine seems somewhat faded. Light cover edge wear. A star rubber is stamped inside back cover. Otherwise pages are clean with no previous owner markings that I find, and without tears, folds or creases. Binding is tight with no looseness to pages.
