The Jeanneret Armless Dining Chair was initially designed by Pierre Jeanneret for the Chandigarh Administrative Buildings in India, for his cousin and collaborator Le Corbusier. This Lounge Chair offers ideal form and function in its' perfectly balanced geometry. All of our Jeanneret pieces are crafted using the same materials and techniques used in the Chandigarh master plan of the 1950s.  Handcrafted Natural wicker / Rattan cane weaving Natural Teak If used daily, we recommend adding a seat pad to protect the cane-weaving from pants zippers, etc. Pierre Jeanneret initially designed these chairs in the 1950s to be used with a pad. Please note that our Jeanneret products are all handmade and unique works of art. Each chair is a one-of-a-kind creation using raw natural materials with slight imperfections.
