The Sonoran Day Egis
The Ft Lonesome Egis - named in honor of goddess Athena’s adoption of her father Zeus’ breastplate fetish and evolving the garment, once solely a medium of self preservation, into a statement of self expression. We’ve taken the idea of a breastplate, an Egis, and upon them woven narratives illustrating our personal mythologies. The Sonoran Day Egis is constructed with a lush golden green silk/wool fabric, emerald green chainette fringe, an adjustable satin ribbon for cinching, and has a rhinestone button closure at the back of the neck.
