Made from premium Northeast hardwood ( Oak, Maple, Hickory, Cherry, etc.), our wood splits are open air dried for a minimum of 1 1/2 years and have a moisture content between 13% and 19% (drier than the kiln dried standard of 20%). The splits come in two sizes to fit your oven perfectly. The 4 to 6 inch size fits table top ovens like, Oonie, Bertelo, etc., while the 8 to 10 inch fit the larger portable ovens with cooking surfaces of 28 to 28 inches. Either way our wood offers exceptional performance, flavor, and convenience. Each box comes with all natural, premium 'fatwood' fire-starters, the easiest and most natural fire starter available.
