The spadix is surrounded by a bright red spathe that looks like a hooded cobra, giving this plant its unique and exotic appearance.  Care: Light: Preferring bright, but indirect light, Cobra Anthurium is ideal for growing near an east, west, or north-facing window. This anthurium is a tough plant; however, avoid placing it or near a south-facing window where it may be scorched by direct light. Water: This plant prefers consistently moist soil. Water it regularly, when the top 2 inches of soil are dry to the touch. To provide higher humidity levels, the plant can be placed on a tray of wet pebbles.
