Latuca sativa 300 seeds Maturity: 55 days Grown by Earthly Delights Farm in Boise, Idaho. An old Austrian heirloom from the late 18th century, Freckles originated from the variety "Forellenschluss," which means "speckled like a trout's back” but trout-like it is not. Gorgeous broad, bright green leaves smattered with red spots form loose 8-10” upright heads or harvest small for baby greens. Slow to bolt, Freckles holds its flavor in the heat. A real show-stopper and a Foundroot favorite.
