--OVERVIEW-- The Newhall navel orange originated as a mutation of a Washington Navel Orange. Newhall oranges ripen in the winter months. It has elongated fruit which is seedless and easy to peel. The juice if the Newhall Navel is sweet and very flavorful. Fruit mature slightly earlier and are slightly smaller in size, with a deeper rind and flesh color than Washington Navel orange.  Self-fertile Best for Zones 8-11/ Protect below 28 F For Zones 4-7, you can grow this tree in a pot and bring it indoors for the winter.
