Rose Beef Ground Beef

The Berry Center’s Our Homeplace Meat understands the importance of keeping our beef local. Their Rose Beef comes from 9 family farmers in Henry County, KY who are working to create better food systems and keep cattle out of conventional feedlots.  Rose Beef is harvested at around 1 year old, making it lighter in flavor compared to Foxhollow's 2-year-old beef. These 100% grass-fed calves are raised on pasture with plenty of momma’s milk, giving the meat a tender texture and a mild, lighter taste. The name "Rose" comes from its beautiful light pink tint, unlike the deeper red of older beef. Includes 1 lb of Rose Beef 80/20 100% grassfed ground beef
